I’d try to form a decent relationship with my new sister.

Let’s assume this is all while in a human universe abd in this scenario, the person who was transformed will behave like Twilight during this hour-long period. So, the question becomes, more or less, what would Twilight do if she were plopped into a completely human universe with all of her abilities intact, yet without knowing anything but what the person who was turned into her knows (including that she is a human for 23 hours a day).
 
We’re looking at someone who has a whole lot of power, yet they do not possess the knowledge to use the power well (since Twilight’s knowledge doesn’t seem to transfer along with this; only her personality, body, and powers). Twilight went through the entire series learning how to use her magic, slowly getting better from the first episode onwards. Realizing this, I’m pretty sure many of these hour-long Twilight sessions would be spent trying to discover magic (since there are no pony spellbooks here on Earth. I’m sure many… interesting things would arise from this.)
 
The Twilight in question would probably also realize that she has become practically a link between humans and ponies. She might also feel a bit lonely, being the only one. She may attempt to perform all sorts of experiments to discover just how this transformation sequence works, and how it may be replicated on others, so that perhaps she may bring a friend or two along with her, or maybe also to extend this hour long session into perhaps an indefinite session if she so desired. She may also use this to fulfill her “biological needs” upon one or two sessions, although I imagine this would not be a daily event.
 
She’d also spend many an hour reading, of course. If the human-turned-Twilight has a problem not doing their work, they’ll probably spend some of this Twilight time actually doing their work (when they master levitation, of course). Perhaps this may also teach them to do their work on their own, so that their hour as Twilight may be spent doing more productive things than doing their human side’s work.
 
So, all in all, a lot could happen.

I really don’t get asking the question at all if your personality changes to be like Twilight. You aren’t you anymore so it doesn’t matter what you would do. If you look like Twilight, think like Twilight, and have the powers of Twilight, where does what you would do come in at all? You aren’t you anymore. You’d do what Twilight would do, and we kinda watch what Twilight would do if she were Twilight every week! The whole thing becomes pointless.
 
Or at least, the question becomes “What would Twilight do if she suddenly had the memories of a random human who once watched her on TV?” Which might be amusing, I suppose…

It means the magic would make you act like Twilight. Despite the nature vs nurture argument you’re making “lol magic” trumps it entirely and makes you simply just have Twilight’s personality.
 
Namely what would make it seem like you’re actually Twilight in this hypothetical fantasy: nerdy, frantic under pressure, adorkable, studious, and somewhat distant to others. With a dash of know-it-all.
 
But yeah if it was a bit more scientific and not magic based you would be on to something.

I think everybody is forgetting multiple things: Yes, you have Twi’s personality, but the personality is mostly secondary without any kind of memory that backs up that personality. Experiences make the person; biological and physical limitations form a base, and genetic details such as the parts of IQ that are genetic are more or less the final part. You’re still mostly you in mind; your memories are there, and thus you should retain more or less your personality, minus some bits of Twilight’s that weren’t based on her experiences.
 
I don’t understand how the scenario gives you her ‘personality’, unless you mean it adds psychological quirks that were otherwise dependent on Twi’s experiences, that now happen because of magic rather than any rational reaction to early memories, in which case it’s not a personality but in fact more of side-effects or irrational defects built into the spell.
 
Regardless, I’d still be me as I know myself and I’d have my own priorities; namely abusing her love of learning to give myself all the motivation I need to study as much as possible, then use that knowledge to do what I’d actually rather spend my time doing. Twilight has been shown to have both a compulsive desire to learn and a good memory; assuming the scenario implants such things into you then it means transforming into Twi is an excellent way to research or study anything you wanted to know the theory of but couldn’t be bothered to learn beforehand, or anything you keep forgetting.

Blow up the governments of the world and unite world, if Twi saw our governments…she would know there would be no other way…they’re all insane anyway and trying to kill us all anyway. Might as well beat them to the punch.

Exactly! People are thinking of wishlists for what they’d do with her magic. But in reality the instant they changed to her it’d be a case of Twilight with your level of intelligence and memories, but her priorities. And Twilight honestly isn’t the fun seeker.
 
You’ll most likely try being as quiet about the change as possible. Possibly seeking the help from a professional to learn more about the situation. Or spend a lot of time reading.
 
It’s completely unlikely you’ll intentionally draw attention to your change. At least not while in her form. What you do outside of her form is still all you though.

If your personality turns to be like hers… exactly what she would do!

I’d use her powers to contact her and make it last longer, on reflection. :l

Once I figure out how to use her magic, submit myself to medical and scientific research to figure out how it works and if modern technology can replicate its effects. Best-case scenario, I help usher in a glorious science-fictiony future. Worst-case scenario, they lock me up and try to use me as an energy source–which, since the Twilight thing is only good for an hour a day, still gives me twenty-three hours of free time. (Worstest-case scenario, they discover that her magic is giving me cancer and that I have six weeks to live.)

Probably cry in a corner, cradling my body for an hour a day every day, wishing it would last more than an hour.

I think everyone is forgetting they’d have Twilight’s personality during the transformation. She’s more the type to get interested in a book than prize money.
