Make that "many toys that aren't in the show." (Heck, even some new characters take years to get a toy.) Makes it really ironic when people or ex-bronies try to demonize the show for being a "toy commercial."
It's especially ironic, when they like shows like Nick's TMNT, and as much as I love that show, like the '80s/'90s show it's loaded with one-shot characters who only seem to appear just to promote their action figure. Honestly, I see more TMNT merch' then MLP merch' in stores, and nobody ever bashes it, or other series for being "toy-etic."
(I'm a huuuuge TMNT fan, BTW so I'm not bashing it.)
