I was going to say something about “unless you already have the expert’s opinion”, but I couldn’t think of any way to state it that didn’t seem overly awkward.

Self-diagnosis pretty dumb.
(Though I guess it could be used as a starting point or something, but only as that.)

@OneOverTwo
expert’s opinion on… symptoms?

Oh, unless you’re referring to the disorder itself, in which case never fear, I’m very much medically diagnosed. Never actually even crossed my mind I could have any form of autism until I was outright told by professionals that I did. Self-diagnosis makes no sense to me.

but if you’re referring to an expert’s opinion on the symptoms i still don’t get it

Well, huh. Never know what you’re going to find in three-month-old comments. For example, today I learned why I have trouble with faces. Never knew it was all… medical.

… d’you think most people with disorders actually research their symptoms? is it just me that never bothers finding out the details? except for randomly stumbling on comments at imageboards, obviously.

also, I want Human Twilight to use “You’re not scientifically possible!” against Princess Twilight.

wow. Villain Twilight has some really interesting potential, and I hope the writers realize it.

First, the obvious: Human Twilight wasn’t anywhere to be seen in the first two, yet Pinkie predicted that she existed. So, she has to go SOMEWHERE, and of course she ends up at a rival school.

Theory: Sunset somehow had a hand in this, even if unintentionally. Maybe there were only so many spaces available at CHS, and when Sunset left Equestria, she took the spot “meant” for Human Twilight.

Be interesting to see if 1) Twilight hates her other self 2) the HuMane 5 mistake the evil twin for Twilight 3) They can’t just rainbow blast Human Twilight, right?

For a time, I thought I was mentally retarded because no one ever actually defined my condition, so I pigeonholed it into the “special needs” category, but in the end I’m not less capable than the average person, I’m in actuality an evolved form of Homo Sapiens I’m more capable than the average person. :3

(Can you tell why I rarely get on with anyone? XD )

It was kind of unfortunate we never got a proper face-off between Twilight and Sunset and the latter turning good by the sequel made it even more unlikely to happen, but with this there’s now a chance.

Sorry, it’s just a rather negative sounding way of putting things. Though I do concede that trying to change the language around it might run into the same problem that happened with the word “special”.

That we, who have it, are incredibly bad at social interaction. Seriously. It’s considered an illness by society at large, for whatever reasons (right or wrong), so it’s discussed in those terms. Let’s just leave it at that, ’kay?
