Very interesting theory. I didn’t think on that.  
I connected these lights to her friends somehow.  
But that makes a lot of sense what you did here. I only can’t see why yellow should fit to Discord, but aside from that, you’re spot on.  
I’m excited to find out if you’re right!

Remember You’ll Play Your Part form Twilights Kingdom? The three colored streaks in the sky are the color that represent the three Princesses execept Discord which might be the bright yellow one.

Maybe, but I thnk it the top 4 most powerful one of Equestria. Mabye it’s not their magic aura but a color that represents them. If not then I’m out of theories.
