I wrote (and am still writing) a fanfic series where Discord (sometime in season 4, probably right around Castle-Mania) decided that it was too hard to live without chaos just to avoid annoying Fluttershy, so he thought it would be a great idea to go to an alternate timeline and make chaos there. And because he didn’t want to deal with an alternate self, he picked one where he was dead. Turned out the reason he was dead was that he’d screwed over the world pretty hardcore and permanently messed up the Element Bearers, turning them all fairly psycho, so the alternate Twilight used the corrupted Elements to cast a bunch of spells on him that in combination effectively enslaved him. They’re trying to break his will so that they can use his magic, so they’ve been torturing him in various ways.
 
The first in the series is Discord in Hell - Not Literally and the rest of them go from there, if you’re interested.

(On the other hand, everyone who knows me knows I’ve done worse to poor Discord… I just wrote it rather than drawing it. :-))
