Personal headcannon of the day:
 
Applejack, weeks prior to revealing her feelings about Rarity, was consumed by thoughts of her in her every waking moment, and even when she slept. She started becoming very fidgety and anxious when around her, not saying as much as usual, giving short responses, though always staying as close to her as possible without arousing suspicion.  
One night, Applejack dreamed of Rarity saying, ‘I love you, Applejack’…AJ was so happy, until she realised…she was dreaming. Still asleep, Applejack lied down on the nothing floor and silently, even in a place where no one could hear, wished it to be true..

Jeez, AJ, she just went to the grocery store. Relax.
