I’m probably alone in thinking I’m okay with Pinkie as Supermare

You make some very good points, but I still think that either Rainbow Dash or Twilight Sparkle would be better suited as Superman. Don’t ask me why I feel this way, but one of my biggest inspirations for thinking that Rainbow Dash could be Supermare is a little fanfic called Mare of Steel by iowaforever on FIMFiction.net. If you haven’t read or heard about it, I HIGHLY suggest that you give it a look, because it is, in my opinion, honest to God one of THE BEST Crossovers of Superman and MLP, or indeed of MLP with anything, that I have EVER read. Read it, I implore you, and tell your friends, family members, and ANYONE else you know to read it, too. I SWEAR TO GOD, it is THAT good!!! Than tell me what you thought about it, what you liked and didn’t like about it, who your favorite characters were, etc. Please respond ASAP. Thank you, and goodbye! ☺☺☺

I don’t think Rarity could pull off Batman’s trademark seriousness.

Feels like the roles for Rarity and Twilight should be reversed. Rarity could be Batmare easy - she’s a business pony, a successful one who has already made superhero costumes inspired by Batman, she would have the money for Batman’s gadgets, and she would certainly have an Alfred type character.
 
Twilight is a princess, she should be Wondermare. She has a background of being isolated from the world, and her role as princess of friendship can work well with Wonder Woman’s philosophies.
 
That being said, Applejack should always be Supermare :3 But I can easily see her as Hal Jordan.

Applejack is a hardworking, farm town gal with strong sense of morals taught by her family, without a doubt the strongest and arguably the toughest out of the Mane Six, who went to the big city, has a dog that could take a role similar of Krypto the Superdog and perhaps her sister being Supergirl.
 
She fits the role of Superman better than any other character, and I feel without a shadow of a doubt that wouldn’t comes to outlook or character none of the others match as well.

Pinkie Pie as Supermare? Naaahhh, Rainbow Dash or Twilight Sparkle maybe, but not Pinkie, that just doesn’t make any sense to me, just like how Applejack as Supermare doesn’t make any sense to me. But that’s just my opinion. Does anyone else agree with me?

Why would you be a Mary Sue, if she was exactly like Batman then I don’t see what the problem is. Unless you can see Batman a Mary Sue?

Well…if you wanted Twilight to be a Mary Sue, that’s one way to do it.
