(SPOILERS FOR OTGW BELOW)  
Shining Armour fits because: He has a girl he loves, he has a little sis, he is more of an adult.  
Chrysalis fits because; I don’t think she’s nessasary evil in the show. She shows affection towards Shining at some point.  
I know Twilight doesn’t quite fit because she’s not as silly as Greg. There is no evidence that Greg has friends in OTGW, just like Twilight didn’t have friends. Twilight was quite playful as a filly though, around her brother, as shown in the BBBFF song. Gregory was innocent, and playful. I think every child/filly has some innocence.  
Spike fits because he can actually speak, just like the frog (at some points) and he’s a companion to Twilight. Just like the Frog is to Greg.
 
If I made this with Pinkie and family, it would crash at some point.  
Maud: Is an older sister, but shows not much to no emotions at all. She doesn’t have a crush on anypony, and neither do ponies on her. (Beatrice started to have emotions for Wirt)  
Pinkie would totally fit as Greg (And that would even be a roooooock fact)  
Gummy would fit a little because he’s a companion to Pinkie. But he doesn’t show any emotion at all. And doesn’t speak.
 
Oh, and you mispelled my DA name on the tags & source. Its HeedHeed, not headheed. <3

I can’t really see Twilight as Gregory, not goofy enough. Shining in place of Wirt I can see with a little artistic liberty and consideration for the tones of the respective worlds but not Twi as Greg.
 
Oh well, have a fav for perhaps not “perfect” but still excellent work.

Okay, Chrysalis as Beatrice is hilarious, although I cannot, for the life of me, see Twilight as Gregory…
