Okay, but I’m gonna go back to being upset as soon as I’m done looking.
Exactly, I wouldn’t give a shit if the writer who made this kind of “what if?” was made by someone BRAINDEAD! As long as they have decent writing, story, character development, etc, I would be fine with it!
Think of it in terms of actors and actresses. There are a listers b listers and so forth. A list actors may be the most recognizable but that doesn’t mean that i enjoy their work. For instance, I don’t enjoy Brad Pitt’s movies just as I don’t really like Ponydora Prancypants’s stories despite each of them being celebrated for their talent in their respective fields. Its more about whose reading the story and how they view it rather than the writer and how famous they are.
Two or three. “It Takes a Village” was flawed by anime-inspired melodrama and unsatisfying shipping. My point is, don’t expect anyone like Cynewulf, horizon, Bradel, shortskirtsandexplosions, KitsuneRisu, Ponydora Prancypants, or John Perry to get passionate about a Spike-centered narrative, or even produce a half-baked one.
See people have written good stories about Spike so don’t you tell me that it’s not worth it!
“A Friend of a Friend” by 8686, “It Takes A Village” by determanfidd “how to Woo Your Lady in Nine Easy Steps” by paleowriter and a lot of others. Yeah some of the major writers don’t write him in but some of the other ones write really good stories about him.
Point me to one that measures up to the genius of “History Repeats”, “A Psalm of Life”, “SIX walk IN”, or “Frigid Wings and Burning Hearts” that wasn’t written by T.D.

Not worth it. None of the genuinely talented or intelligent writers would be caught dead putting a suitable measure if emotion or talent into a story in which Spike’s troubles are the emotional core. They’re only capable of doing that for ponies.
Let the fanfics commence :P
It’s probably the latter but I’d love to see what would happen in the former.
Or this is merely the traveling that took place during “Dragon Quest”.
