Tell me, how’s your pet Applepone doing lately? Is she being an annoyance, or a delight, to your home?

The Applepone, Equus equestrianensis terrae applia, is a bothersome pet, noteworthy for her obsession with apples, hence her name. She will talk (although “Apple” is not her only word), think, and do anything just for apples, and she enjoys games in which you fail to hide your supply of apples from her. In fact, all Applepones are born with an ability to sense the presence of apples – they will become more happy and excited near one (even fight each other over just a few slices), unless you eat the mentioned apples, causing them to try to beat you up with their bare hooves.
 
At least, her best use is being an apple farmer: her hind legs are good to kicking trees to dislodge apples, and she will gather as much apples as she can to share with you. With her strong muscles, she can also be used as a cart-pony or a plow-pony, although she will enjoy it less.
 
Also, please never give an Applepone a pear (this makes her an ideal companion for a Doctorpone) or an orange – the very sight and smell can make her angrier than a herd of raging bulls!
 
Nor should you take an Applepone’s hat, even when it has been stolen from someone. Applepones treasure cowboy hats, and will even risk death over a single stolen hat.
 
Think twice before you buy an Applepone – are you ready to let her steal every apple and cowboy hat in your house?

Yeah I was looking at that. It’s possible AJ might still be able to reach a back hoof or two on the ground also, but either way there’s a believable feeling of weight there, with the Rarity part 1 picture also. I find that impressive.
