Oh, man. I wonder how she’d approach him first. She could easily tower over him by at least four times should she stand up. Well, if we see the two together, at least.  
And, I guess I can see how it’d be difficult to get the tip to look right, afterall. Still, you got the head to resemble the real thing! I love how the curvature of her body is nicely arranged here, too.

This was practice for the Lamia entry for my as-of-yet unnamed version of the monster mare encyclopedia, which I will begin if I can stop doing other stuff. I seriously just did the weirdest crack ship which would have been finished and uploaded by now, but I couldn’t stop laughing at how it turned out (it kind of sucks, but at the same time that makes it hilarious to me for some reason). Just gotta add a quick background, but that can wait to tomorrow.

Hey, I like a few animalistic additions, too! Tails, ears, and wings can add a lot to expression. They’re a lot more lovable that way, in my opinion, at least.  
But, yeah. Some things are difficult if not impossible to explain. Apologies again for dragging this out.

Considering Alp-luachra are indigestible, I don’t think Mave would be bothered too much, as long as she can avoid the fangs. And getting crowded out by the next thing they’d eat.

On a more serious note, I like how her color scheme matches the real thing very well. I just question why the tip of the tail isn’t bright red. Still, it’s very nice!  
How is her size compared to others; say the Alp-luachra? I’d imagine this species could prey on them if they wanted to, seeing as they’re around five feet long. (But not Mave, because she’s too special.)  
I really like the long body, too.
