@WM-R
I like this. From what Larson has said in Season 1 it was sort of just “anything goes” as long as the executives approved it (including Faust). Now with a bigger world there’s probably more back and forth discussion about things.
Hey, he’s being polite and asking a sensible (if trivial) question here; heaven knows I’ve ragged on him in the past, but I save that for when he’s actually being a jerk.
OP is still a duck for that description, though.
Or maybe there are two incredibly identical buildings: Carrot Top/ Golden Harvest’s farmhouse, and a smaller clubhouse-like building.
Admittedly, that’s really stretching things, but c’mon.
Well, bear in mind that this is a world where the capital city is literally visible from the town square, and a sky chariot– which can be clearly seen by Ponyvillians as it takes off from a Canterlot balcony– travels the distance in only a minute or so, but to get to Appleloosa requires an overnight train ride even though it’s only about twice as far away from Ponyville on the map. It’s entirely possible that house is several miles away on Golden Harvest/Carrot Top’s farm, but it’s just as possible it’s a CMC clubhouse-size structure on the other side of the hill.
FAILED A SPOT CHECK?!
Welcome to Meghan McCarthy and Jim Miller’s era.
I think you failed a Spot Check there, hoss.
@Dr Outback
Ponies don’t go up there any more.
I try not to call people idiots, but that description is surely some prime idiocy.
I rather wanna know about that house on the hill.
Mane salon, I’d assume. If you look closely, it’s connected to the tented building, and I know that one is the Aloe sister’s spa. Dunno about the fruity one though.
The joke shop actually appeared in Griffon the Brush-Off.
I’m more suspicious of the apple-cherry-strawberry(?) one next to it or the pink brunette one.
Oops. I think I got it confused with the Carrot Shop. I’m pretty sure she lived there before the Sweet Apple Acres update, but I may be misremembering.
@Grieffon
Isn’t that the joke shop? I’m pretty sure they showed Pinkie shopping for party supplies there at some point.
When they start answering your questions with “Wow, who cares?” then you can complain.
Hey OP, why don’t you ask Faust why she never addressed what that clown house is. That’s gotta be significant, right?
Is it?
I actually like the idea of the staff sitting around for a meeting, and at the end when the chairperson asks, “Any other business?” someone pipes up, “Hey, about that house with the carrot on top on Applejack’s farm? That’s where Carrot Top lives, right? Just checking?”
And then the thunderous debate begins.
Did you not remember the episode where Carrot Top went on a life-changing journey with Princess Celestia and Soarin’ to find her place in the world?
I think it’s pretty humorous. Who says every single building in equestria needs a backstory and owner?
