I must say, I’ve seen many pony Tumblrs, and some are definitely better than others, but Steamquestria will always be held in my mind as something special.  
There’s just so much personality! The characters, the world in itself, the ongoing story; it’s all so interesting that it keeps you coming back, even when you know Mr. Ego probably hasn’t updated yet.  
There’s just so much depth in the world Ego’s created, and so many details and aspects of the story that draw you in, that anyone who’s been to Steamquestria probably won’t be leaving a anytime soon.
