He’s gotten better
99% of his reviews come down to “STOP BEING MEAN”, “THE WRITERS MUST LOVE TORTURING ANIMALS”, “HUMOR NEVER WORKS IF ANYTHING IS EVEN REMOTELY CRUEL, EVERYTHING SHOULD BE NICE”. I’m not exaggerating, watch his Ren Seeks Help reviews, he actually thinks that the writers of that love torturing animals. In the One Course Meal review he said that he thinks the writers want to drive real people to suicide, because they wrote an episode where Mr. Krabs goes too far in trying to stop Plankton and puts him into a constant state of fear, which SpongeBob then tells him is wrong to do. The dude is delusional.
He also has one of the worst fanbases ever as he’s caused a lot of losers to go and harass the writers of these things on Twitter, because Mr. Enter said that they’re all evil. Terrible reviewer with absolutely no understanding of humor. Something does’t need to be nice to be funny, sometimes laughing at exaggerated things that remind us of real pain we’ve gone through in life can be a great coping mechanism and make us feel better, it doesn’t mean we like everything portrayed in the cartoons we laugh at. It’s like watching Duck Amuck and thinking Chuck Jones really wants to torture ducks, it’s crazy and makes him an absolutely terrible and embarrassing reviewer.
He also constantly tells people how a certain joke is “supposed to work”, not realizing that setting guide lines for a type of joke makes them completely predictable and unfunny and that humor is supposed to come from things you don’t expect. His suggestions for replacement jokes are some of the least funny things ever, because they’re so damn cliche, he doesn’t get that jokes aren’t supposed to always be something you’ve seen a billion times. His Friendship is Witchcraft review was cringeworthy for this reason.
Anyway, rant over, but he didn’t “get around” Fox, right? He never posted the Family Guy reviews back on YouTube, did he? If not, he lost to them and will lose to Viacom.
Fox is pretty much as strong as Viacom, and oh boy they are.
Not really, I don’t always see Mr.Enter complaining on Animated Atrocities for the sake of complaining, majority of his reviews are pretty reasonable. The only time I didn’t see that was when he criticized some MLP episodes such as Rainbow Falls (which he loathed heavily).
Eh, he’ll find a way. If he’s able to go around Fox, he can around Viacom.
But again, this is IMO.
Not sure why you’re making Fox bold. Viacom is a lot more strict and ridiculous then they are.
He also tended to use nearly entire episodes for his reviews and offered little to no actual criticism outside of showing something and saying that it’s bad, that sort of exceeds the limits of fair use. I don’t think he has a legitimate defense and will keep getting removed from YouTube if he tries to come back.
Also, he had to take the Fox reviews off of his channel, correct? He won’t survive if he has to take all Viacom videos off his channel. He might make a home of Dailymotion or something, but nobody goes there.
yeaaaah, he’s still coming back. Considering how he took down Fox of all channels when they attempted to take down his account for his Family Guy/Simpsons/King of the Hill reviews, he’ll probably beat Viacom.
Considering he beat Fox when it came to them getting butthurt over his video critiques on Family Guy, Simpsons, and King of the Hill, I’m sure he’ll be able to win over Viacom.
His Animated Atrocities are pretty enjoyable and when I don’t agree with his opinion, I understand what he meant: I didn’t like his review on One Bad Apple, but I can see what he was saying.
I hope it gets resolved with him winning, I like when he does Animated Atrocities.
Likewise, he is posting videos on daily motion for now, but the drama is seriously getting out of hand.
Oh yeah I like Mr.Enter’s take on it, such a shame he’s having a hard time keeping the videos up.
I think some people just don’t like how he expects every episode to be a slice of life (there was also the incident where he called the season 4 finale “almost perfect” only to trash it), plus I think some just don’t like how he basically follows Digibro’s style of reviewing.
shrug, then again, I wonder why some people like Digi (especially when he spent his time accentuating the negative) or Ink. Oh well, least there’s Josh, ILKPA, and Enter.
I’ve seen alot of brony analyst so I’m not sure if I get why people find him unbearable.
To be fair on Oliver’s part [at least so someone can get off my back…], his AJ video was good. Then again, he expects every episode from the show to be a slice of life.
Why if there’s one analyst whose snarkiness I despise more, it’s that guy.
Ain’t that the truth!
This is the internet; nothing’s ever “over”.
What did?
Oh get over it will you, I thought that ended months ago.
THANK YOU.
Ohhai!
