The Dragons of the East, the protagonists of the Asia Side-Story of “The Conversion Bureau: The Other Side of the Spectrum”, a deconstruction fanfic of the controversial fanfic subgenre. Quite possibly the biggest, fattest, longest middle finger directed specifically at the stories of Chatoyance (just look at its own TV Tropes page; it’s a monster).
 
By the time of the main story, they are known as one of the greatest symbols of the Asian resistance. Their members include a mixture of humans and ponies who run the spectrum from professional soldiers to civilians who’ve taken the call to arms.
