Fair enough if you enjoy but about the story, it just sort of co.es out of nowhere, yea we know the awoken in the reef deal with fallen but for them to suddenly be betrayed with no build up whatsoever? I can’t argue if you enjoy it but I feel the quality of story telling has been very lacking. The best parts were in the taken king and mostly with cayde in my opinion.

I enjoy it personally because I like the prison of elders plus the expansion 2 was for people to get a better understanding of the awokens and there fight against the wolf pack

I don’t really think they should to be honest. This reaction was meant for the initial release of the game. Whether the content got better or not doesn’t change the state the game was in when it was first released. It could even be argued that those qualities still exist in the game, yeah sure there’s new content but with every “expansion” the story length seems like it should be a chapter rather than the whole thing. You’re locked out of the raids if you don’t already know a group of 5 people and if you don’t have gjallarhorn, as a result you can’t get experience in the raids which people also see as a requirement if you wish to join their party. The loot is still lacking in my opinion as well, You’re never guaranteed good loot that you can use that you don’t already own, it took me until the challenge modes came out to finally bet the machine gun from the oryx raid, on top of that you can’t bring weapons through with you to the next “expansion” meaning you have to grind for the best loot to replace your previous best every year if you want to keep up.  
I would say around the taken king the story did start to improve, despite that every “expansions” story has little if nothing to do with the last. The only time an expansion continued a story was the taken king being the consequences of killing crota in the dark bellow dlc. The stories of each dlc and “expansion” are still really short and, as I said before, seem like the should be chapters in a full game rather than their own stand alone stories that are meant to carry an “expansion”  
One last thing I’d like to mention before I end this. It pisses me off that they dropped support for last gen so next gen could have better graphics, you pretty much cut off a large chunck of your player base just so the others to have prettier pictures? Fuck off. You could have at least waited until destiny 2 came out. Some of use do’t have the money to spend on an xbone or ps4 AND the entire collection of destiny and its “expansions”  
TL;DR destiny is pretty much the same as launch, it may be enjoyable for some people, but that doesn’t make it a good game.

May I just say that destiny has, ahem, CHANGED OVER THE YEARS! I wish the artist would come back to this and see what’s changed

I might be over exaggerating when talking about what I think of the game but through Destiny I have made many friends who I play with in other games now as well.

That’s all anyone can really ask for; we shouldn’t be here to insult the experiences as a means of belittling it for those who enjoy, but just let others enjoy it, and hope that even more can decide for themselves whether it’s worth the time and money to enjoy, as well.

True it was over hyped, there was very little (arguably no) story to start out with and the dlcs seemed to branch off on side stories, pvp content may not be balance and I might not be the best fps ever but it does have its moments and I enjoy it regardless of its flaws.

To each their own… I don’t own Destiny and have never played it, but there’s no question it was overhyped.

Ah but you see, destiny is so much better now! sure it took time and people expect it to be perfect straight away but destiny is not like other games. It is a world constantly growing and changing, you can see this with the addition of taken encounters in old strikes and the addition of the dreadnaught as a whole new location. The makers and developer of the game are still learning and still trying to make the most awesomest world to shot aliens in eveah.

I would disagree on it being a “tumblr” thing, even if most of our mouthpiece troubles are from there. As I understood it, mouthpiece was to be given to pictures which spouse certain real world opinions that don’t make sense within the context of the world the given versin of the character exist. Like, Twilight calling all white people rapist when there are no white people where she exist, and even if they did she would have no reason to believe so (unless the creator is strawmanning hard).
 
Within the context of Luna being a gamer, she not liking a certain game after playing it makes perfect sense, she not liking the MOSES project because it will kill baby seals… Not so much.

If this is considered mouthpiece, think about it. Every single artwork of a canon character aside from screencaps that would talk would need the mouthpiece tag, since it’s the artist making the characters talk. When the whole point of the tag is annoying shit like the actual mouthpieces that preach toxic and horrible things like gay people are terrible or whatever tumblr cooked up this time.  
All this is, is a pony with an opinion that isn’t canon. Mind you, since it’s a tumblr that’s based around that character in this particular situation; where luna’d be into video games, chances are this would be an actual opinion based around the concept. Very different from a mouthpiece, as it’s related to the character and tumblr.
