Rarity and Pinkie as Gina Cross and Colette Green from Half Life: Decay.
Somehow I actually managed it by hair and names. I’m trying to remember the thought process, but it had something to do with Pinkamena hair being very close Colette’s and them both having ‘colour’ names. (PINKie and Colette GREEN). And then Rarity just seemed like a perfect Gina. I’m still not sure how I made that connection though.

The Fic the pictures are based off of (Tellingly named “Half-Life: Equestria”) has it so the HEV’s gloves somehow magnetise to anything classed as a weapon without the user doing anything except touching it.
