I only skimmed the very border of the FoE community and found I’d just stick with the fics themselves.  
The original FoE is good (with a few flaws), PH is dragging a bit but also OK (and with a few flaws)…  
Best FoE fic in my opinion is still Pink Eyes - because Puppysmiles is just awesome. :)

Get ya. Like I said, I do not really care much for the FoE community except for fics themselves. From my experience, most of the community just cries and trolls when I dare to call out any minor or major flaws of any FoE side-fic that even an amateur can see.
 
But nope, FoE is ABSOLUTELY perfect, right? /sarcasm
 
Also, went out my way to check what FoE community thinks of PH. Wow. Just wow. I mean, it is not a super awesome fic and I certainly have lots of problems with it, but it is neither as good as a god-send gift from heavens nor is it, and I am not even joking as I use this anon comment, “The worst thing ever written. Somber literally killed the literacy itself. Whole world will implode when he finishes this garbage that will forever stain the souls of everyone, everywhere.”
 
I… probably should not look these things up… I will just read them fics and have fun.

people tend to react violently to any slightest percieved deviation of FoE’s canon that they see in PH; even though none of those are really retcons.  
it’s double funny when it’s somebody like Seraphem, who hasn’t even tried reading the fucking story, but still will go pages and pages about how it’s awful.  
it’s triply funny when you realize that, well… what FoE does to the show‘s canon is equal to taking it out behind the shed and fucking it ten ways from sunday, but it’s okay when FoE does such things.

I didn’t say it’s Lacunae either.  
I thought it was her until I saw the bat wings. After that, it was clear to me it wasn’t her.

Personnaly, I was looking between minigun or missile/rocket launcher. But the explosives don’t fit with shadows and sneak (bat pony stuff :b )so I took minigun. Plus, the CZ57 Avenger is just epic.
 
But you know, if somebody thinks “Blue alicorn+minigun = Lacunae and nopony else” then we have this kind of “It’s Lacunae!” comments.
 
PS: she is (dark)blue, not purple. But at least, you doesn’t say she’s Lacunae, so you’re forgiven :3

I’m not sure why people would just right off assume that it’s lacunae (maybe it’s the minigun?) 1/3 of all alicorns are probably purple as well… It ain’t like somber has the only purple alicorn.

If you throught that because of the minigun… well, I chose the minigun in place of a missile launcher. So NO, she isn’t Lacunae.
