I would love to see the rest of the comic in this style for Sunset. Also, Sunset, yes I would talk to your adorable self; granted you did some bad things, yet I won’t let that stop me from approaching you.

Trust me Sunset, I know DAMN well how it feels to have everyone hate you. Shit, it wasn’t even my fault that those people hated me.

I have a feeling that because of Sunset’s relatively complex design, she’s great at improving your skills! Also, more Sunny is always a good thing.

I love Sunny-sun. But beginning with her is kind of arting on hard mode (that mane/hair is pretty difficult).
 
Seriously though, for just starting out, she looks pretty good already. Keep practising!
 
PS - One thing I’ve learned over the years is that anatomy books are super useful (life-drawing class even more so, but not everyone has access to that). It helps to understand the rules of how the body works so that when you go stylized à la EQG, there’s a foundation to the anatomical distortions. If that makes sense.

Do eet! Sunset Shimmer practice will be the light that helps your drawing skills grow. It’s like a metaphor or something.
