Because the suits are of the mane six, but are haunted by fillies and colts. A griffon’d go after little ponies.
How about this: The suits could be where the griffon placed the… ‘leftover’ parts he refused to eat. Getting revenge and a meal at the same time.

That still does not explain why the purple guy is a griffin. If purple guy is a griffin, wouldn’t that mean the griffin wants to eat the foals? If that’s the case, then why would the animatronics be haunted? I mean, the animatronics are supposedly haunted because they are stuffed full of dead child corpse. If the foals that were supposedly stuffed into the suit are eaten, then there is really no reason for the animatronics to be haunted, which basically kills continuity for FNAA (Five Nights at Applejack’s) completely. I’m confused and I taste copper now for some reason.
