I really liked this story and wanted to draw something from the flash comic. Enjoy.

They seem to be completely upside-down, fanning out upwards from the bottom of the wing instead of from the top.
That’s what I thought but the structure of the wing still baffles me from this angle.
Study them for a small while. they are bent in a “V” shape, as to convey sort of a relaxed feeling… Behind what you can see it the other side of the wing.
I’m more confused as to the shape of the things.
That’s how big they where in the original. If you can do better, i’d love a redline.
I’m always looking for ways to improve :).
