Heart Flutter grew up in the more wealthy side of Cloudsdale, away from the huff and fuss of the Griffons fleeing from the destruction of their kingdom. Heart Flutter was a very wealthy filly, but unguided due to both her parents being Fireflies (Alternate Wonderbolts). She grew up raised by help around the house consisting of butlers, maids, gardeners, and other ponies working off of her parents payroll.
 
One afternoon she was asked to meet her parents, but had realized she had been tricked by Changeling Spies looking to seek ransom, and fled towards the ground in hopes of hiding. She succeeded, by help of the animals of the forest nearby, and grew to recognize emotions. She attained a good amount of empathy while living with the animals, until she left them once she thought it was safe to find her way home.
 
Since she had never navigated home from the ground, she decided to find a pony to get directions. She ended up in Ponyville, where she began flirting with many a colt and stallion. She did as such with the empathy she had obtained, and gained her cutie mark by setting up a couple who were clearly in love. Although, she did not feel for the act. She can recognize feelings, empathy, but she cannot feel compassion for others. It’s the trait of a filly or foal raised without proper love and affection.
 
Heart Flutter only returned to Cloudsdale for her money before returning back to the ground to seek a job in Las Pegasus. Here she set up a match-making service, which also doubled as a brothel, a chapel for shotgun marriages, and a bar. Heart Flutter is quite the heart-breaker, and has a big list of ponies just waiting to find the love of their lives. Although, the more time ponies hit-and-miss in love, they crawl right back to Heart Flutter for “comfort”. No harm no foul, right?
