Gratz. You’re discovering you have execution and/or bondage fetish of some kind? Masochism? I dunno.
Also adorable ponies and forgiveness. That’s there, too.
Let the blood of Christ flow straight to your loins, so that it may rise for three days straight.
Woah, Mormon? Me, too. BYU by any chance? You might actually know me, heh :p
I’m reminded of the numerous pics of Fluttershy in a Habib that always seem to be downvoted. :\
Failure is necessary to learn. Penecillin Guy knew that. Edison knew that. Einstein knew that. Hawking knows that. (One thing I have committed to memory on Einstein was that roughly twenty-thirty after he died, his theory of universal acceleration was proven, even though he himself thought it was malarkey.)
Those names are from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. One of the central plot devices in Part 7 is the corpse of Jesus Christ. One of the comments above has a picture of His interpretation by the illustrator, Hirohiko Araki. I’d imagine if it doesn’t interest you, we need not discuss it. I wished to discuss it with random berks in this same thread. :j
Eh, yeah, sorry for being kinda harsh.
Effective communication takes effort for everyone, though. Some more than others. I just took some issue ‘cause if you just accept that you’ll fail, then you’ll pass up on a lot of opportunity to do much better than you would have otherwise done if you hadn’t given up on things that are difficult.
I’m not familiar with any of those names :q
I already said I only knew the gist. Your explanation of Einstein’s theories comes across as more showboaty than trying to be helpful… Though, thanks for the refresher, I’ll try to remember your comment. :)
Also, I’d hazard Japanese Christians are in the same universe as Johnny Joestar since Daiya Higashikata mentions one of her favourite bands is Yes. :3
But you’re not talking about groundbreaking theories, you’re just referencing a lot of stuff that nobody knows about without giving any context for what you’re referring to. Who’s “Soft & Wet”?
How “else” stands are created in 7-8? “Else” implies that someone mentioned how stands are created… But nobody did. And what are “stands”? The only kind of stand that comes to mind is a wood structure that puts things on display. But wooden display struts are made from Christ’s corpse? What? And then you start talking about Japanese Christians? And what do you mean by “in 7-8”?
I have a brother with Aspergers; our parents were told by doctors that he’d never talk. But now he holds a 9-5 job as an Information Technology specialist. Don’t use a disease as an excuse to not take great effort to make yourself understandable. Einstein’s theories would have done nothing to the world if he didn’t learn to communicate them to others.
And for the sake of science, I must point out that Einstein never started out just wondering if travelling quickly could do something to time. All of his great breakthroughs came by trying to explain previously unexplained experimental results; and while you have a general idea of how Special Relativity works, it’s even more subtle and odd than that: when two observers are going near the speed of light relative to eachother, each will observe the other’s clocks ticking more slowly, along with a host of other oddities.
Too bad for me, I have the same disease that Einstein reportedly had, which while giving me supreme intelligence makes me incredibly annoying. XD
(I’ve no doubt Einstein told acquaintances ad naseum the theory he thought up while riding the bus about whether or not moving as fast as light could speed up time. :3 )
You shouldn’t post while you’re high, or you write stuff like this.
Shhhhh, SOFT&WET is a believer of Jesus Christ.
I’m trying to remember how else stands are created in 7-8, but I guess they’re all indirectly born from Jesus Christ’s corpse. I don’t know how accurate that episode of Samurai Champloo is, but I did hear from History 18 that Japanese Christians were a thing in the 1700s or 1800s. :j
Ssssssssssssshhhh
Let pinkie’s love flow through you.
I second this.
Oh, no, it’s not just a torture device. It’s also a means of humiliating and excruciating public execution plus torture.
Ancient humans were sick.
it’s too remind us of Jesus sacrifice.
so that we always remember that he died so we could be forgiven for our sins.
You realize that torture device has been used as a religious symbol for nearly 2000 years, yes? I agree that that’s weird, but I’d imagine devouts know why they use it. :j
Good point
AppleJack
Had a very physical job, goes out of her way to help others, lives with her family and working in the family business, gives her friends advice, wasnt liked by the dominant religious group at the time, traveled alot on her own, and fought & defeated monsters. But thats all just ambiguos and barely coincedence
