Or more like pre-Boast Busters Trixie. But it’s still surprising though. They could have given the screen time favour to the CMC (has a couple of episodes like the main cast), Derpy (popularity) or even Flash Sentry (I know he’s not popular). And Trixie gets a song as well, just like Discord. It’s like the writers just wanna tease us how big of a role will Trixie be playing in S5. Not to mention her comics as well.
Then again, Rainbow Rocks looks quite like a little fan-service movie since they managed to show most of the fans’ favoured characters.
Yeah, I wouldn’t mind ol’ Trix’ coming back.
Speaking of Rainbow Rocks, I was surprised that Trixie had a larger role in it. I was expecting her to just be a cameo character, but surprisingly she did more in it, and was even a minor-antagonist in it. Apparently, human Trixie isn’t quite “reformed” yet.
Babs and Trixie are both redeemed antangonists so the comic arc fits really well for them. Now we just need a Trixie episode in S5 that shows her comeback, just like Sunset Shimmer in Rainbow Rocks.
They had something similar with Trixie bonding with Babs a li’l bit in the comic, but yeah that could be fun having her with the CMC.
Well played, well played indeed.
Trixie can wear a fake beard. And a bad scottish-ys accent.
“Aye am not this… Trixie. No, most certainly am aye not this mysterious, magical and likely very attractive mare you speak of!”
It might be an interesting idea to have a Trixie episode with Sweetie Belle (and the 2 CMC ). Add Diamond Tiara to the fray and problem and you’ll get your drama.
But chances are, it’s slim since she’s banished from Ponyville unless Twilight has a way to help her with that.
Bison: NAN DA TOOOOO!!!
Yeah, considering in “Rainbow Rocks” she kinda goes back to her villainous ways. Granted, that was human Trixie, not pony Trixie.
There was a time I might have said ‘pretty good’, but now, there’s no telling what the results will be.
