I do believe they’re supposed to be under the fur. Kind of a Princess Sally effect, if you will.
If something causes a sense of revulsion, it’s disliked. Is that difficult to understand?
Again, I think we know what the Uncanny Valley is, it’s the fact we can notice it not so specifically that makes it so unusual. However, that doesn’t mean we have to dislike it, as the ability to recreate it is a art form, indeed, a sub genre of art, in and of itself. It is NOT something that is automatically bad because of what it is, it simply is what it is, and it is up to the person viewing it to discern what they think of it.
No:
Actually, you can like an Uncanny Valley picture just fine, it’s simply that it feels, ‘a little off’. Like putting a animated pony head on a realistic person body, but the two being molded into each other EXTREMELY well, where we have to actually search as to why this picture is not quite right.
This is VERY MUCH in the Uncanny Valley, but that doesn’t make it a bad picture.
Tag back on!
Indeed it’s not, since “uncanny valley” implies that the picture isn’t liked by most people. It’s a collective concept.
But given the score, this can’t be considered as such. I’m removing the tag.
Too many pictures are tagged “uncanny valley” just for the personal tastes of some random user -__-
So, like a really cute pony version of a Minotaur, when you think about it :)
Why?
It’s just unusual for AssasinMonkey.
But he experiments a bit, so there.
