I agree with the dialogue.

This ship was probably scripted long before people got tired of lesbian carwash Dash. No reason to hate on it just because it took years to get to this point. And really, if Dashy is gay, we all should be glad for her that she found somepony who feels the same way. Just for the complaints about FireDash, this ship gets all my upvotes.

If you’re an artist, and want to make people like your favorite ship, draw more of it! RariJack has become a very popular one. Almost up there with AppleDash and TwiDash among mane six ships.

Well WhiteDiamonds did say she was making a new Rarijack pic everyday, so…

I like shipping, just depends on the ships. Some I like, or love, some I hate, despise, and some I’m just meh. And of course some I wish would just go away for at least a day as I don’t hate them, but they get close to it from being EVERYWHERE. Looking at you, Rarijack.

I would argue one would base their preferences on characters and not their gender/sex. However, DA did not need a throwaway romance plot; it also didn’t need as much repetition, but I digress.

I understand this completely, its just a matter of taking a break from shipping for a while.

Isn’t it ironic that this image was made pretty much to address comments like the one before mine?

Don’t know, it kinda put me off the “Dash Academy” comic, ‘cause I kinda saw that coming for a long time, (in fact, when the bullies first teased Dash calling her a “filly-fooler,” and such it made me wonder if the artist was planning something like that, while also hoping it wouldn’t go down that road) and because the whole “Dashie is a lesbian” thing is very overdone.  
(Not to mention kinda stereotypical… Remember when that angry lady at Mrs. Magazine tried to accuse the character of being a “gay stereotype,” and accuse the show of homophobia?)
 
No offense to the artist, and fans of the fan-comic, just kinda burnt out on ’shipping personally. It feels like we can hardly have any fan-stories without ’shipping in them, or making almost every single character a lesbian.

They’re totally in lesbians together.
