Well there is a science behind the word, Babies and Kittens are considered cute because yada yada I don’t want to pull a article up Although I do not find babies cute, sure funny looking but not cute.
But there is also the feeling of cuteness, that hnnng feeling!

I didn’t know cute was something that everyone felt exactly the same about. I assumed everyone viewed cuteness differently.
Sorry I don’t fine Fluttershy or Sweetie Belle cute, I just…don’t.

Sounds like you’re misusing the word then. You’re confusing “cute” with “character I like”.
I just don’t like Fluttershy or really any of the ‘cute’ ponies everyone loves. The CMC are not cute to me, nor is Coco, or Derpy, or whoever else the fandom has a cuteness boner for. I like Sonata enough, but that’s more for her design. I don’t know if Maud is considered a cute one by many, but I much prefer her to the others I named.
Hell, I even find Rumble’s one single line a million times cuter than almost anything Fluttershy ever said or squeaked out.
Now when she’s a bat, I like Fluttershy, just not any other times.
I know Spike has his fans, but rarely do I hear anyone claiming his, eh, “cuteness”, surpasses anyone else in the main cast. As for Dash, it’s had to think of her that way when she’s being a jerk, which is kind of her norm.
Eh, I think Dash and Spike are way cuter.
Not even close. Fluttershy, is only even approached in cuteness by Sunset and Sonata.
