I don’t have much knowlegde on the subject, so I can’t really argue with that; not that I wanted to in the first place.
When I hear a rape joke, I just assume it’s “dark” really. “Dark” sounds cooler than “sick/wrong” anyhow, so there’s that.
I’ve been operating under the impression that “dark” applied to how cruel it is, wheres sick and/or wrong applied to the moral outrage it could cause in certain people.
I guess that’s true. Though, when on the subject of underage molesting, jokes tend to be both sick and dark. Not sure what category is appropriate in this case, but it doesn’t really concern me as long as it gives me a chuckle.
To me, something can be “sick and wrong” without being dark, per se.
Well… Happy jokes can be dark. I could come up with an example, but all my favorite dark jokes are really offensive, so I better not.
Is it really that dark if they both walk away happy? ;)

Also, the image itself is kinda dark, so I don’t think either joke was out of line. (Though I should clarify that I didn’t mean that first one and actually find Sweetie Belle adorable.)
