I find it beautiful that in the sangheli military (and to an extent the covenant as a whole) colour denotes rank.
Tru. But it’s much scarier when it a Sword wielder. It made me felf like i just got surprise buttseck.
P.S P.S Dat moment when playing on highest difficulty and any Elite sneaks up behind you.
And Elites are Elites. They are pretty much the backbone of the entire Covenant, already there when the Covenant alliance was founded. They are by all mean superior to a normal human and will whoop your ass. The games tend to made them look weaker than they really are, even without the fact that you played as a Spartan most of the time (who by all mean NOT a “normal” human). Unlike the the Grunts’ stupidity and the Brutes’…well, brute; Elites are natural warrior with actual combat skill.
P.S: Dat moment when playing on highest difficulty and a Sword Elite snuck up behind you.
Yeah. Don’t forget that the Sangheli were farmers turned elite warriors over centuries if not millennia of religious suppression.
The royal guard are just royal guard, you know, like every royal institution has.
Ooooh, hey guards, want some ice for the burn?
You’re thinking of grunts.
Royal guards, grunts - There I could see the similarities.
total cannon fodder for an enemy they see coming from a mile away and still gets indiscriminately wrecked.
