Description
Left side represents redeemed antangonists/villains that were used to counter/defeat another villain in the later episodes. So far, Mane 6 needed Discord for Twilight’s last key, Sunset Shimmer to unite the Rainbooms against the Dazzles. Now we all have S5 with Trixie having a high chance of returning. But who would her ‘foe’ be?

well, she helped, so… Hilarious in Hindsight?
Why can’t I?
Can’t blame me for trying.
There goes the neighborhood.
@HighRollerHydra
That ship may have sailed.
Fair enough I guess…
And when I said that last thing, I forgot about Vinyl, who could probably handle any emergency requiring music and unicorns by herself.
Sometimes.
Maybe she was a hobgoblin.
Gumdrop Goblin, they need her horn to play music and it’s not like she’d turn down a chance to show off.
Speaking of which, why was that thing so big? Aren’t goblins usually little short guys?
I don’t think he had second thoughts the whole time. The first place I saw them was with Shining Armor, and I was looking for signs of regret. It was pretty clear he was feeling guilty when Tirek drained Shining Armor though.
Okay. I have a hard time picking up that sort of subtle cue, so I admit I may have missed it.
He didn’t seem to me like he regretted it until it was time to round up Fluttershy and friends. Plus, he still did it. All I’m saying is there’s still some room for improvement. I didn’t say he wasn’t reformed, just that he might not be fully reformed.
He was truly remorseful and had second thoughts the whole time too.
I’m not sure Discord is completely reformed either, he did help Tirek for a while until Tirek backstabbed him.
Okay, just checked, the Illusions are tagged as Fuchsia Blush and Lavender Lace.
“Trixie and the Illusions”, so they’re the Illusions, but I don’t know if they have individual names, canon or fanon, yet.
That I would like to see because she could have gone solo like Bulk Biceps and Octavia. Yet surprisingly, she’s got 2 partners. Is this a sign the writers are hiding for Trixie in S5? There are more secrets hidden behind that one trick pony.
And oddly enough, despite only having 2 episodes, she’s a main character in her comic arc (FF with RD and the Rough Diamond arc ) and gets a song in RR. She’s quite a surprising character to the staff.
Sorry, I was under the impression that the words “villain” and “antagonist” were interchangeable.
In any case, I’m a Trixie fan, but I don’t think she’s a likable character. As I said before, she’s basically a unicorn rendition of Rainbow Dash, who was as much assigned the role of ‘hero’ as Trixie was that of ‘villain’. Or protagonist and antagonist, respectively, if you prefer. Throughout the first and much of the second season, it was possible to swap the two with only minor changes in details. They’re both really too self-absorbed to be given traditional moral alignments, so their position on that slider is provided by their friends, or lack thereof, as applies.
That said, I really want to know who Trixie’s lackeys are in Rainbow Rocks, because they’re totally adorable.
A lot of people ignore statements like that for one reason or another. Usually it seems like “It’s not canon because I don’t like it” is the reason.
@SUBSTANCE15
Actually, somebody somewhere pointed out that Babs deserves most of the credit for that win, and I have to say I agree.
