Well, only real critique is it looks a bit copied/traced, but ironically alot of pony fanart looks like that to.
 
And yeah, honestly the typical internet Sanik-hate is getting old. At least me, and BP#56AA drowned it out by discussing the series in a calm manner.

Yeah, in fact, several recent Mario games have multiple characters like the NewSMB games to offer multiplayer.
 
It’s ok, I kinda miss the older 3D games to. I was quite fond of the SA games, and Sonic Heroes actually. I even liked the “Shadow” solo game, despite it’s flaws, and it was nice to have a game focus on a different Sonic character for once, and get a different perspective on the series. (It also brought some closure to Shadow’s angst, and backstory.)

I get that I’m a weird one. I just miss the older days and those games before Sonic 06, including that game.
 
I liked it quite a lot, but no one else did, and everything after that game was changed to focus just on Sonic and Eggman, and it bored me, so I simply stopped playing the new games and lost interest.

Well, I don’t mind Sonic being the only playable sometimes. (It’d be complaining about how you only play as Link in “Legend of Zelda.”) Though, yeah I like having some others occasionally to. (I wasn’t even bothered by “Sonic Heroes” huge amount of characters. In fact, I kinda liked the gimmick of playing as 3 characters at once. Kinda reminded me of playing as “Sonic with Tails” in the old games.)  
Shadow & Blaze are ok, haven’t played with Silver yet though. (As I don’t own the game he’s from.)
 
It’s odd the Sonic series is the only series that gets complaints like that…  
Nobody complained about games like “Super Mario 3D World” having multiple playable characters. In fact, it got praised for that.  
(Admittedly, I’m more partial to the Mario series then Sonic, but I still love the blue blur.)

I know, and I miss those games, so I’ll simply continue to enjoy them while everyone bitches about them to this very day.
 
I like Tails and Knuckles well enough, but I like Shadow too, and Silver, Blaze, and pretty much everyone else.
 
But that’s waaaay too many for too many people. They need more bland, more boring, just Sonic only, that’s all the people want.

Kinda funny to hear that, considering usually people complain about the Sonic game series, and such “having to many characters,” and such. (Which is kinda odd, sense we haven’t really had multiple characters sense like Sonic2006. Have people seen no other Sonic game sense “Sonic Heroes?”)
 
To be fair, they finally are bringing back Tails, Knuckles, and Amy as playables in the “Sonic Boom” game. Which is nice, ‘cause I kinda missed them.
 
As for the clothing issue, don’t know what to say about that.

And I really don’t care about the games anymore with the constant focus on Sonic only as I really don’t like him, so losing 95% of the characters from the comics is just a punch in the gut to someone who liked variety.  
Not to mention the subtle things like males wearing no/less clothes and females being fully clothed in the games, and comics previously allowing it to go either way.  
I miss that.

I didn’t care much for Mina & Ash, but I’ll admit it’s still a shame to lose them, and so many other characters, as well as so much continuity/canon/history in the series.

I liked Mina and Ash the most (NOT made by Penders…) but poof, no more.

Yeah, I can sort’ve understand. I was bummed they had to get rid of alot of characters, (even ones not made by Ken Penders, apparently…) to avoid more legal-drama…
 
At least the game & SatA.M. characters are still safe in the book. (Including Naugus.)

The third series is based on “Sonic Boom” so it’s going to be based off that show’s canon, not the other 2 comics’ canon.
 
As for the semi-reboot, (thanks to the Ken Penders copyright fiasco) I think the StH comic series is still good regardless. I even liked the Sonic & Megaman “World’s Collide” crossover they did.

Pretty much… Surprisingly, Sonic even gets alot of hate from his own so-called fans.
 
I remember some were even trying to give me crap for being a “Sonic fan,” but honestly, if you like a show for little girls, or like the fanart pr0n based on said show, then you’re really in no place to “nerd-shame” others for liking a video game series.
 
Also, regardless of the “hatedom” Sonic has, unlike some other game series introduced in the 1990s, he still makes games, has 3 simultaneously running comic book series, and a new TV show (his fifth one) coming out in November.  
I’d say he’s doing well for a so-called “dead/hated video game hero.”

Yet, it’s ok for bronies to mix MLP with anime, Final Fantasy, Fallout, Halo, Super Mario, that zombie show I can’t remember the name of, Thomas the tank engine, numerous rated-R comedies, and everything else in the universe…
