Would you say your relationship with Fluttershy is similar to the relationship which Rumpelstiltskin and Belle share in the Television show “Once Upon a Time”?

As seen when he faced Tirek laser beam, he know a lot of defensive spells to help him. Teleportation, splitting body, maybe even barriers. But i doubt healing or ressurection (like in few fanfics) is something he would able to do. It seem more like a harmony magic. He also probably cant use dark magic spells like powerfull destruction spells and beams. He seem to focus on spells based on mind control, illusion and confusion. I suspect that a lot of his tricks like moving sun and moon are just illusions to confuse his adversaries. So he may not be so powerfull as anticipated and he will probably get nerfed for the future villains to beat him

But if he can’t heal himself from physical injury, why hasn’t someone killed him yet? The very fact that he got sick, and that he didn’t disappear when his magic was drained, suggests that he’s a physical being and that he uses magic to make himself more or less invulnerable, and he’s too careless for me to imagine he’s never taken a hit from any attack. It’s true that healing isn’t particularly chaotic, so quite possibly he can’t heal anyone else, but canonically he’s got to be able to heal himself or he’d be dead by now, with all the enemies he’s made.
 
Healing a disease is a different matter, and it might also be that the sickness made him lose control over his magic, so he couldn’t use his powers to heal himself because while he was sick he was effectively powerless.

We don’t know if he can use such magic as healing, it seem more like a very pure good magic that would fit harmony than chaos. Thats why he coudnt heal himself from disease caused by giant worm

Even if she did somehow manage to drain a dangerous amount, he could probably restore himself just by snapping his fingers.

As if I didn’t love both size difference, and Discoshy, completely separately from each other, enough already.

I love how happy he looks about this. “Go on, Flutters, take a nice long drink, I’ve got plenty more where that came from!”
 
Actually given the size difference, if Fluttershy did go full-on blood-drinking vampire Discord would probably be her ideal feeding partner, because he probably has like three times as much blood in his body as a pony. She probably can’t drain enough to harm him, even not considering his powers.

I will probably lose conscious from a blood loss in a moment now, but at least i can touch that flank
