Yeah, without the “may” it becomes something you have to do, so it’d be more of a drawback anyway.
there’s another thing about this that only experienced card players like me would notice; it should say ‘you may discard’ instead of just ‘discard’ due to the private state of a player’s hand
additionally, discarding ‘from the hand’ is redundant due to the game’s definitions of ‘discard’ always meaning from the hand
People have figured out the fonts they’ve used (they’re available commercial fonts), and the design of the cards has been templated. This was like the first thing anyone does with a new TCG/CCG that hits the market is to create the templates for it for digital attempts/custom cards.
Got some things good, but the lack of resolution hurts them a little, and the title fonts aren’t the same.
And it’s the fonts that the comment was talking about. Copy/pasted from the thread…

I heard in another thread on /mlp/ that the devs are also worried about leaks in their staff. Is that true?

But both a friend into the CCG and into graphic design, and from the reddit post, pointed out several things that are wrong with the fonts and glyphs for that to be legit.
Where exactly? Either they don’t exist, or I’m looking in the wrong places. Nothing on their official Facebook page, at the very least.

Seems about right. And looking at my cards, the fonts are a perfect match.
Though I wouldn’t count her as a new “element”of harmony since the game only uses “color”.
