Excepting Chrysalis, who is basically an alicorn changeling, perhaps changelings cannot accurately copy alicorns for some reason. I don’t recall any evidence from “Canterlot Wedding” implying otherwise.
That might sound stupid, but I would not be surprised if that were a future plot device.
Or fell into the Mirror Pool by mistake.
No wings, no crown. Easy to spot.
I haven’t even updated the app since the added the Twilicorn/EqG nonsense.
