All the rodents in my house are in the freezer; my Biology class in high school had hamsters for a while, though, and after they’d all eaten each other we had a solitary gerboa that gleefully dismantled any cricket or grasshopper or scorpion or cicada you gave it. After that we had a tarantula that figured out how to open its tank and went walkabout.
