But most pics simply have it as a crystal.

Didn’t the C&C Red Alert 2 Virus unit also kinda look like her rifle had a crystal on the muzzle, in-game?

Look, I ain’t no expert on weapons… I kind of am, actually, but as far as I know, sticking a crystal on the barrel of your anti-materiel rifle is not a good idea.
