Bio: Tempest’s parents met in the Wonderbolt’s Academy, respectfully. Soarin’ was the awkward, shy, but cute and well-meaning stallion in the group while High Winds was the kind, background mare that would help out but never really noticed. High Winds had a crush on Soarin’ at first sight when he first joined the team. This crush wouldn’t have been reciprocated until the Grand Galloping Gala, where after the huge fiasco with Blueblood and the rest of the Elements of Harmony the Wonderbolts proceeded in getting drunk off their plots after the air show. Somehow the two found each other in a bedroom, alone, and the rest was history.
 
When High Winds found that she was pregnant, she hid it from Soarin’ for a few months due to the fact they weren’t a couple. Of course, she could only hide this so long until she had to call in to work asking for a pregnancy leave. Soarin’, however, decided he would see if she was okay and saw her belly bulging, and connected the dots himself. Soarin’ promised to be there for the foal or filly, and hoped the two could be friends. High Wind, with a heavy heart, accepted. If only for her child.
 
Tempest grew up in Cloudsdale amongst the other colts and fillies in the city. She excelled in flight school, being the child of two Wonderbolts of course, and some ponies hoped she’d be one of the next generation of Wonderbolts. Unfortunately, Tempest was attracted more to the weather than racing and other sports. Tempest would grow up to be head of the weather pony district between Cloudsdale and the Crystal Empire.
 
Personality: Tempest is a very calm, gentle mare with a serene smile. She’s sometimes cocky, due to her ability with the weather and clouds, but often helps other ponies with their work. She prefers outside work to paper work she has to deal with in the district’s office, no matter the pay or repercussions. She’s good under stress and cool under pressure, and always has an idea to fix a problem. She’s the go-to mare for advice, and loves giving it out. All-in-all, she’s a well respected mare.
