Not applying sunscreen is a good way to get skin cancer, yeah?
I highly disagree.
Oh, come on, Nightmare Rarity was a really good story
Everypony except you says what?
Heather Nufner, a “good” writer? Really? Those “Nightmare Rarity”, “Pirate” and “Bookworm” stories were garbage.
I guess that answers it: Sapiens are the dirtest race. ;D
Furries have existed for centuries. Look at like half of the mythology for most countries. Cultures depicted their entire pantheons as half-human half-animal. (Hi Egypt)
Oh believe me… She hasn’t got any better. And it’s good to see another one who agrees that Luna’s Micro was the absolute worst, even worse than Twilight’s.
It’s sad she gets a lot of praising while ACTUAL good writers like Nuhfer or Anderson don’t get any love.
Everything existed before the war. They just had nobody else to talk to due to the lack of internet. A guy in the 40’s was hardly likely to put out an ad asking for people who like fisting to join his ‘we all have a interest in fisting’ group.
I’ve actually recently started theorizing that furries have existed since before the war. X3

Ah, Daring Do. I still wish they’d left that as “fiction” IH the story.
Oh, that was a Katie Cook story, right? Yeah, I stopped reading her schlock after the Luna issue of the micro series. Still (in my opinion) the worst issue I’ve read, but her new stuff might be worse, I don’t know. I’m always kind of disappointed when I see her name show up on the previews when I know they have so many better writers.
Plus, the annual is a strait out Power Ponies comic, not twilight and the gang transformed into them, but the actual Power Ponies. Sort of like the Daring Do books coming out in, I think, October.
YAY!
The introduction of the human-verse wasn’t such a big deal, since it came first. Then came Power Ponies, which was exceptionally stupid, but it was still like some kind of magical fakeland, so whatever. Then the IDW guys decided to run completely wild with the mirrorverse concept in “Reflections”, and suddenly there’s no end to alternate universes. Now, we see the streams crossing between all this madness in the above image. THAT is what is bugging me here. It’s like comic books just can’t leave this kind of thing alone. Eventually, it’s just an alternate reality-palooza.
I could be wrong, but didn’t EQG and Power Ponies both come from the animated series first? I think that was DHX, not IDW.
Yeah, all those panels are in the eight page comic preview, mostly in the same order, but missing a whole bunch of panels and all of the dialogue. I really enjoyed it, looking forward to seeing the other 40 pages when the Annual comes out the end of September. New MLP on three out of four Wednesdays, I like those odds.
Also, showing that could be totally awesome as it matches up with the SDCC booth thing:
