Nothing against vore, but these comments have me hoping this doesn’t become a regular thing with Mick.

Like others have said already, I was pleasantly surprised to see how good of a vore artist Mickeymonster could be(tame/soft vore, too, which is my favorite kind)! But then I got sad realizing he’ll probably never draw anything like this ever again thanks to the party poopers in his comments and the fact that it was a commission.  
It certainly puts him on my list of “guys I really wish I could commission”, though!
 
Either way, I love this pic and it’s probably one of my favorite vore sequences ever!

I’d might inclined to agree with you on that last point back in 2011 or 2012, but now I’m not so sure they’d rile up that bag of cats, what with fetish porn inspired by the show literally permeating the web. They know it exists… and that people, you know, find their pleasure in it. I think they are very much aware that would be a huge mistake. That’d be all kinds of trouble.
 
To each their own, but I’m kind of sad that’s how things are. It’s a time-honored gag in classic, as well as modern, cartoons and should’t have to be excluded purely out of fear of drawing unwanted attention (more-so than already present).

Yeah there’s a lot of harmless Vore in like every cartoon and movie I’ve seen and people don’t flip their shit. But this is where people go ballistic? I just don’t get it. It’s especially worse since some the people complaining about the Vore content have arguably worse things. And yeah it could have been so much worse, especially if it were Spike chewing up Applejack into a bloody paste. Here though I could sort of see happening in the show (not Applejack eating Spike, but maybe Spike accidentally swallowing Appletini in Bridle Gossip).

Yeah, I’ll admit I was a little surprised seeing something like this pop up in my feed from him, but I understand he did it for the money and I enjoy any of his works with Spike in them. The content didn’t shock me at all, as Vore is pretty much in everything these days.

I know right, it’s frustrating how ridiculous these people can be. I’m no fan of vore in truth, but it no way bothers me to the point where I feel like I’d have to threaten to unwatch the artist simply because they were being experimental and open to such a subject matter. On a more positive note though, this is an extremely adorable little comic.

I would think that tag would be reserved for a piece displaying something akin to ‘implied digestion’. Still think it’s pretty unnecessary.

Pretty sure “semi-grimdark” is required for vore, no matter how tame it is.

Why the semi-grimdark tag? This is the most innocent-looking soft vore I’ve ever seen. The stomach acid doesn’t even look like acid, it looks like freaking apple juice.
