The problems concerning age I just assumed has something to do with time being different in the human world and Equestria or the metaphysics of the two worlds in relation to each other being kind of wonky.
 
There’s one a of two possibilities: either pony Celestias’s reign corresponds to human Celestia’s tenure as principal(and would suggest ponies live longer than humans if the humans of Equestria Girls don’t have lifespans any different from humans in the real world), meaning that a few years of time for humans in high school relates to a generation of ponies or the time between the two worlds have absolutely no relation and Sunset Shimmer’s human self is just what she would look like in that world, ignoring her being a decade older than the mane six.

wouldn’t say weep, but she definitely having a hard time there.

I think that’s the thing…if someone really is genuine in their reformation and is contrite and guilt ridden about what they did, then they should be given a chance. Then again, it depends on the crime and whether the individual sees it as the moral event horizon and tags him/her as a reprobate.

I’m not quite certain of her actual age, and of course some people don’t take the comics as canon, but if you do… I would say 10 years older than Twilight at least. On the EG comic you can see her as a mare walking around and Twilight as a little filly in the background.

Forgot to mention why I feel awkward:because everyone else in the thread is sympathizing with her.

I feel awkward considering that Sunset does deserve there scorn.She was cruel and evil.And I’m really glad that the film is actually not letting her off the hook for what she did(well everyone sans the humane 5 plus pony!twilight). Though Tia really should’ve known better,honestly.

On the one hand, Sunset deserves those nasty looks… and probably worse for everything she did in the years prior to EQG1. (seriously, how old is she??)
 
On the other hand, Sunset Shimmer is the best mutant-humanized-Unicorn after Rarity and anyone who wrongs her or makes her sad (post-reformation) must die.
