Sorry folks, being a Rarijack shipper, I felt that I had to do this. But at least I understand that Rarijack is not everyone’s ship, and that I often watch the show and read the comics with my Rarijack shipping goggles on. So here is my newbish attempt at meme! Appreciate my 1000 hours in MS Paint!

That’s because the things that make them appealing as a platonic pairing (their differences, their chemistry and they way they go back and forth between annoying each other and enjoying each others company and being sweet to each other) is what fans of the romantic pairing also enjoy. Unlike some ships, the characters and their interactions don’t need to change at all to ship them… you don’t need to come up with elaborate scenarios that would explain why they’d start hanging out or whatever like a lot of ships. If Rarijack as a romantic pairing was canonized, I don’t think much would need to change beyond Hasbro saying “okay, we can do gay” basically. Just as friends, they act like they’re married half of the time already.
Heh, and the poor comic that just came out featuring Applejack and Rarity on a road trip, it’s supposed to be Just a road trip featuring two of the mane six with opposite personalities who would get on each others nerves…
But yet when many of us look at it, all we can see is Rarijack.
Thats why I find the concept of shipping goggles so funny.
It’s like “oh man that new issue of the pony comics with Rarijack has just came out!”
“come on bro! Take off your shipping goggles off for once!”
I’m not a fan of AppleDash myself, but I’d take it over RariJack or TwiDash any day.
Biased? I only said what I truly thought. I don’t hate AJ, despite being boring, she’s still a likable character. I like her, but not as much as the other mane six. I also never said AJ and Rarity were “perfect” for each other, I only said their relationship was cute. Their relationship is anything but perfect, but that’s what makes them more interesting. More interesting than two tough tomcolts who only have contests together as far as their friendship goes. The whole “bitches” thing was merely a joke. A lot of people do that these days.
I’m not usually a fan of any shipping of any kind but for calling Applejack(A mane character with tons of character building and skills “A very boring and dull version of herself(Rainbow dash)” is just a horrible and completely biased and inaccurate perspective that only overshadows your equally biased perspective of Rarity and Applejack being “perfect” for each other because despite having completely different personalty and lifestyles you think their relationship would be cute…and your labeling of the other mane cast as bitches for Rainbow dash…Well your argument is one of the poorest and most biased Ive ever seen
Actually, Twidash is my OTP. Soarindash is alright too. Appledash is something I just casually enjoy.

I don’t agree. Rainbow and AJ is highly overrated. It really just feels like Rainbow hooking up with herself. A very boring and dull version of herself. Rarity and AJ have tons of moments together that make their relationship so cute and precious. You want RD with someone? Maybe Twily or Soarin. Those two would make fine bitches for Dash ;)
