Okay, just did and yeah… skin of his teeth. Like, he couldn’t repeat that if he tried.
It was at the end of the part 3 video; the one titled “Not-so-official Ending”. I’m gonna rewatch it just to make sure, but I’m about 80% sure that’s what happened.
For some reason I don’t remember that…
He does make it through Night Five by the skin of his teeth, starts cheering… then sees the “Night Six” option on the main menu, and about has a heart attack.
I don’t think he made it in time on night five, I think Freddy got him just before it turned 6:00am but I could be wrong, I just remember him at the end of night four going “oh I was so close… wait, I DID IT!”
Don’t you mean night five? Or did it happen both nights? I haven’t watched it all the way through yet, but I know that happened on his fifth night. Also, I mostly remember his massive failure when he first tried night four, in the second episode.
Ya, I’ve watched a few different people play it and have seen how low a lot of them get at the end of later nights, oddly I haven’t seen much of Foxy, I guess all the ones I watched got lucky to hit that mark of viewing him enough to make him stay put.
It’s actually hard to avoid that happening. The times I’ve played it, night 3-5 always ends with 0% power and just waiting to see if the time will change in time. The game is made so you are as close to 0% when the clock reaches 6 AM. You can, of course, avoid it. But it happens quite often.
Then have you see his part 3, when he finally made it to the end of night 4, he got lucky,as he ran out of power and Freddy played his jingle for when the power is gone, but it was just in time for the o change to 6am so he lived, if it happened sooner then he Freddy would of popped up and got him.
The cameras cutting out is actually caused by Bonnie moving, apparently. Chica might cause it too, but I’m not sure. I think this is, as you said, to prevent players from locking them down all night.
@Prof.NightJack
Ah, okay. As I said, I have no intent to play it. I didn’t know through watching Markiplier’s videos that those would happen. I do like knowing about games and little details like that, even if I don’t play them. Like with Resident Evil 5, even though I’ve only beaten 3-1 at this point, I do know a good number of plot and treasure details.
You have limited power and looking at the cameras drains it, so you can’t always look at it, and they will move when you are not looking.
2 things actually.
First, it uses a lot of power to just look at the camera. You will not be able to make it through the whole night if you keep looking at the camera.
Also, sometimes (about 3-5 times in one night) the cameras will all shut off for about 10 seconds, giving them time to move.
So there is no cheating in this game. The best thing to do, would just be to check the cameras rarely (check the fox every now and then) turn on the lights on both sides regularly and listen to the noises all the time. It’s all about conserving power.
Foxy is completely inactive on the first night, but from then onwards he becomes increasingly active and aggressive, just like the other animatrons, and will attack you depending on how litle/how often you check him.
Freddy, on the other hand, waits until after the second night to be a threat, like it takes the time to analyze your strategy before going on the prowl. One of the scary things about Freddy is the fact that you can’t see him in a room if another animatron is there, and he can teleport from room to room (not just into the office), meaning he can completely avoid rooms you check regularly, like the end of the east hall. His pathway is supposedly fixed, but he can leapfrog to the next part of his approach very easily if it means avoiding your attention. The only way to slow him down is to spot him on the cameras. The only way to tell he’s moved is when you hear a deep laugh echoing through the building.
I’ve heard the AI in later nights will change to adapt to exploit your previous strategies, though I’ve never seen enough to actually see this happening. For example, not checking Pirate Cove at all the first few days won’t activate Foxy, but later on Foxy will attack you first chance it gets unless you check Pirate Cove soon after entering.
Not quite. Bonnie doesn’t disable the doors and door lights like Chica does, but it will wait for you to exit the cameras to attack you, unlike Chica who will do the opposite. The funny thing is, as long as you don’t lower the camera, Bonnie will never attack you even if it gets into the office with you, so long as you don’t exit the cameras.
The rest of that was right, though; Bonnie does tend to harass the player more, but doesn’t linger as much. Chica does move away from the door, but it takes it significantly longer to do so compared to Bonnie. Freddy, however, will never back off.
Bonnie does that too.
Bonnie approaches more often but doesn’t stick around for long; while Chica approaches less often but will stay by your door for the rest of the night.
I actually see Fluttershy as Chica, mainly because Chica approaches you less often compared to Bonnie, and it doesn’t attack you immediately (it jams the doors and waits for you to check the camera before killing you)
But he drains your power while he’s at your door.
Except he drains a bit of your power when he hammers on your door. So you know… there’s that, too.
Well. if you manage to close to the door in time, he resest, so it’s all good… I guess.
Actually is you check on him to much(or to little) you trigger him coming after you, so if you are looking at him every other second then you are dooming yourself.
That fucker… is a dick. You gotta check on him every other second… and that scene, is the last scene you wanna see.
