Age of extinction was an improvement, but i guess the resident evil movies have the same effect, as much as they are fun to watch they have little to do with the source material.
I was thinking more along the lines of the movie franchise rather than Transformers as a whole. Those movies get progressively worse.
And how did transformers movies kill off franchises? Last time i checked they were popular and the franchise was booming.
