I knew from the Begining it was a reference to Scout, I’m well in the TF2 Fandom as well, and If you look at the tags it SAYS “Sisters” as one of the tags.
I agree. Creating a fan-character is fine, but when you start creating fan-characters that are closely related to major canon characters it looks more like “Look at my super-special snowflake fan-character, aren’t they great?”
And I realise the enormity of my own hypocrisy given that I have 6 fan-characters in the PPG fandom and 5 of them are daughters of the PPGs themselves. :PPPPP But I don’t parade them on a site made for fandom-specific art. xD
Perhaps a interesting twist would be to have the sister suck at magic.
I’m thinking more along the lines of “This is my special snowflake OC who is Twilight Sparkle’s sister.”
Twilight’s parents might not be that old, and if so, they could have another kid. Huh, that makes me think of a situation where they are telling Twilight and Shining that they are going to have another sibling, at the same time Shining is about to tell them that they are going to become grandparents.
And I’m not so sure who I’m hurting…
