Berry Punch is still pretty cute, and we know she was an adult when Lyra, Bon Bon, Cloudchaser, Flitter, and Pinkie Pie were still foals.

I have aquired some photographic material of this local potions expert and it seems like the suspicions are right. This does not look like a face of mercy: full

That is a good point; I’m willing to accept it. After all, the only local expert on potions has been met with suspicion and distrust, and is also a foreigner presumably unaccustomed to local taboos. That, and she seems to get most if not all of her ingredients from the to-ponies-terrifying Everfree Forest…

You make a good point. There’s no way of knowing whether or not some young mare (or stallion) is atually older than they appear to be. It apperas we are at stalemate here.

Allow me to present another theory.
Have you ever considered the possibility that maybe the ponies are not using magic but instead, potions of some kind? We have material showing that powerful potions can be made and some plants have quite notable effects on ponies. Even more, if the magic used to make ponies younger is powerful, it would considerably limit the ponies capable of using it. Being forbidden would make usage of it even more rare which would support the idea that ponis are just as old as they appear to be.
Potions on the other hand would be much more likely as they could be used by pretty much anypony. Availability of such things or ingredients however is something we don’t have much information of.

There’s plenty of young mares in Equestria, too. How do we know some of them aren’t actually older than they seem, and the ones who look old are just alright with aging gracefully? It might just be illusions, after all.
And that’s most likely because Twilight wouldn’t actually be okay with actually using powerful, forbidden magic in the process of getting her town back, whereas Trixie had no problem with it judging by her use of the Alicorn Amulet.

I may be wrong, but you know, I may be right.

Hold it right there! Where’s your proof? We’ve seen plenty of old mares in Equestria. Surely they would use this magic to keep themselves young, especially if there’s plenty of it as you claim.
Also, have you heard of Twilight Sparkle? She’s the element of magic and possesses an incredible amount of strong magic yet even she wasn’t able to turn older mare younger but had to rely on trickery to make her rival believe she would be capable of doing that.

As you can see I have a strong reason to believe you are spreading false information!

Oh, please, there’s plenty of magic in Equestria to keep you eternally young and beautiful. Especially since you’ve already proven yourself willing to use the Dark Arts.
