First off, this is a three year old image, that is a movie that has been out less the a month.
Also, Arthurian legend if from the late 5th century.
Edited
Odd, I could swear I had heard a version that had that.
None that I know of…
Doesn’t some versions have Caliburn as actually being the same but when it broke the Lady of the Lake actully used her power to repair it and gave it the new name Excalibur?
In some retellings, that is the case, but in others Caliburn is the sword that Arthur pulled from the stone to prove his royal lineage. Following a battle, Caliburn broke, and Nimue, the Lady of the Lake, offered Arthur a new sword called “Excalibur.”
Caliburn is just an earlier name for Excalibur that got retconned into being the name for the Sword in the Stone.
Exactly! The name for the Sword in the Stone is NOT Excalibur. It’s real name is Caliburn.
The pics are actually unedited, it’s just one sitting on top of another on top of another.
This came out entirely different from what’s in the background. But it’s the only big pic link in the sauce. Must be some sort of javascript buffoonery
