So, one day I was looking through my Twitter feed and I saw that the Doctor Who twitter I follow announced that Kate O’Mara had passed away. I looked her up and found out she played The Rani, a timelord that crossed paths with the sixth and seventh doctors. I watched the episodes she was in and that’s how I got back into trying to watch the classic Doctor Who. (The first time I tried, I found the plot of the first Doctor episodes to be kinda dry)
 
I thought I’d draw The Rani as a pony. Her cutie mark is stolen (with permission) from lissy-strata from her picture of the ponified Rani.
 
While I was at it, I decided to draw The Corsair as well. There’s not a lot on her, so I had to sort of improvise on how she looked. Corsair means pirate, so I tried to give her a little bit of a Jack Sparrow vibe. I drew the Ouroboros tatoo on her neck even though I think it would be her cutie mark because I wanted to see it. Her dress is modeled after the courtesans from Assassin’s Creed (she was a bad girl after all)
