No offense to those who likes the bloody gore and mindless torture pics, as that part of me doesn’t do that anymore.

That poor, poor fluffy. The look on his face. (LOL!) Still, it’s refreshing to see a fluffy’s death that’s actually sorta funny under piles and piles of bloody gore, mindless torture and just plain bad abuse edits of hugbox pics.

The basic idea on Fluffybooru is that fluffies were intended to hit that spot in-universe by Hasbio, but they miscalculated with their personalities and design. The end result is just far off enough that people subconsciously don’t give them the classification of a child or a pet, but of a toy. This is why there is no in-world objection to fluffies being classified as biological toys (bio-toys) rather than animals.
 
The irredeemable part came later, from people who were really disturbed by that miscalculation. It’s the difference between people who simply don’t find the Teletubbies cute and those who violently hate the Teletubbies for their uncanny valley designs.

The biggest thing is that fluffies definitely don’t need to be helped on the way to their demise. They’re so fragile and stupid that they’re almost doomed to die some sort of silly death. Human care is the only way they probably even have a chance of living to their old age.
 
And even in old age they’d still be stupid.

Granted abuse can still be funny at times but this is the best sort of fluffy death. Not the gory pointless abuse but fluffies dying as the result of their own stupidity or of otherwise not thinking the consequences of their actions through.
 
In this case, not considering that’s it’s probably a bad idea to hide in a basket of clothes on laundry day.

It’s the closest thing that we have to “abuse of a pet” without it qualifying as a pet due to how sentient it is.
 
I mean, consider the number of these compared to, say, “kitten/puppy abuse animations” or “baby abuse”: Nothing to feel bad about because there’s nothing relatable to it (fluffy pony).

I still don’t get where the mindset of fluffies being irredeemable blemishes on the face of the world comes from in the first place. A fluffy, the way I see it, combines aspects of a toddler with a pet, and never quite mentally progress beyond that for their whole lives. It seems like a fluffy would be virtually guaranteed to hit the “love and nurture” instinct in us. Maybe they’re just too dependent and cute for that instinct to strike for some.

Oh there was more funny ones in the early days, but the torture loving ones just threw there ideas around about how fluffies are nothing but vermin that need to have the worst possible death that it flooded out the good stuff.
