Point in full there-Dash could crank out technicolor yawns both literal & metaphorical. Simple low-speed, short-range flights (in other words, Fluttershy’s favored envelope) oughta remain feasible up ‘till the big day in (admittedly remote) case of airborne baddies…speaking of which, gotta wonder how often peggies had to contend with griffons, teen dragons & the like pre-Princesses.

True enough regarding human family-way foibles, but any sapient race that uses cloudtops for housing might have a distinctly alien definition of high-risk living. I could see mixed-couple earthie or unicorn partners breaking a sweat about their flappy beau’s well-being, though.

I could see people wrongly thinking it’s unhealthy for pegasi to fly when pregnant, especially in their mixed race species. We were wrong about lots of stuff related to pregnancy.

Yeah, I’m of the same thought. Preggasi(hah, great word!) being completely grounded makes little sense. That said, Dashie doesn’t seem to be very far along here. She might just be suffering from morning sickness - combining nausea with RD’s usual flying style is probably a terrible idea!

Y’know, I really don’t see why flight would be totally off the table for preggasi-especially during the first few months. ’Course, I suppose restriction from her usual regimen of hovering, aerobatics & rainbooms would feel like being nailed to the astroturf for Dashie.

Oh, I thought she was implying that Soarin’ wore her out last night, but I guess it’s less dirty than that.
