AJ looked like she was there to make a point, and only temporarily; it wasn’t her, she knew it and she wasn’t going to base life on it.
Rarity looked like she was trying to become something that would never work out.
Rarity looked indeed ‘country’ like but I wouldn’t say like applejack.

Well here’s the thing…that outfit, while nice is at best cowgirl formalwear and a cowgirl costume at worst; it’s flashy and not at all practical in everyday working on a farm.
AJ looks classy as cowgirl. Rari failed to replicate that class and just came out crude.
I loved that outfit…If it was between the two, yeah, I’d choose that one. (While I love Applejack’s pampered attitude, her dress is quite…flashy.)
Actually, Rarity’s better when she sticks to her own vision rather than blindly copying another pony’s.

The show needs more of those two together. Either that, or have him interacting with Cadance a little more…Why not both.
I want see more Spike/AJ interactions.
